Mr. Hollier has been married for over 30 years to René Carrier Hollier, with whom he has two children. He is an avid hunter and fisherman and loves spending time with his family either at home or outdoors.

James D. Hollier joined the firm in 1991 and his practice areas include the Defense of General Casualty, Workers’ Compensation, Automobile and Maritime Claims. His tireless work ethic and attention to detail have aided him throughout his years in practice, bringing hundreds of client cases to conclusion through settlement, dismissal or trial. Mr. Hollier takes great pride in building relationships with his various clients and being responsive to their needs on a 24/7 basis. His passion and dedication to the legal profession, mentorship and educational outreach to young lawyers, and work within the community have been recognized and honored by awards such as the inaugural Michelle Pitard Wynne Professionalism Award from the LSBA.
