Coreil appointed to Access to Justice Commission
Jeffrey K. Coreil was recently appointed as a member of the Access to Justice Commission for 2016-2017. Louisiana Supreme Court Chief Justice Bernette Joshua Johnson recently signed an order establishing the Louisiana Access to Justice (ATJ) Commission in order to ensure that all citizens are treated equally under the law.
The mission of the Commission is to “assure continuity of policy and purpose in the collaboration between the private bar, the courts, and the civil justice community so as to further the goal of assuring that Louisianans, regardless of their economic circumstance, have access to equal justice under the law.” Read more about the ATJ in the Louisiana Record and on the LSBA website.
Coreil, a 2009 graduate of the LSU Law Center, is a partner at NeunerPate, where he devotes the majority of his practice to civil defense litigation, with a primary focus on admiralty and maritime, toxic torts and environmental litigation, and worker’s compensation defense
